Detox day 1 is coming up on Monday November 2nd. I'm preparing myself by:
1. Purging - I don't have a lot of unhealthy food in my home, but I do have things like gluten-free allergen free, naturally sweetened cookies and soy milk that I won't be allowed for the 28 days of the detox. So I'm using up those things now for the next few days.
2. Splurging - I'm going to miss my soy chai lattés! So I'm relishing the last few before the big detox starts next week.
3. Psyching - It's going to be a fairly big change. Not that my diet is unhealthy, but the recommended foods on the detox are not necessarily things I eat every day like quinoa. We are all fairly attached to our eating habits and so making a big habit change for the next 28 days is an undertaking that requires getting into the right mindset.
4. Stocking - Shopping for things like quinoa and shopping around for recipes that fit into the program. Fortunately the guide book supplied with the Ultra Clear Plus gives fairly detailed menu plans and recipes.
